KOENIGSTEIN, GERMANY – Last Thursday a friend and I drove out in my new orange station wagon to Koenigstein, a small town located in the Tanus mountains not far from Frankfurt. The main attraction of this town is the large castle ruins located 437 meters above sea level. The castle ruins date back to the 10th century and are now are some of the largest ruins in all of Europe. We were able to climb to the top of the tower for an incredible view of the town below.
